Step one

One of our experienced move coordinators will contact and visit you to discuss your specific requirements assessing how big your move is and what materials your job will need.

Step two

The coordinator will talk you through every aspect of moving covering everything from how your goods will be transported and insured to their arrival at your new destination. We will happily discuss any questions you may have.

Step three

You make an informed decision and take advantage of Dennis’s comprehensive range of removals services, including, inventory and packing, transportation and storage and delivery and unpacking.

Step four

We will provide you with a no-obligation quote. If you’re happy with this quote you will need to sign our acceptance form and arrange your date for moving.

Step five

When your moving day arrives, our team will arrive at the agreed time to take charge of your possessions.

Our removals process couldn't be easier.

To ensure the safety of your furniture, possessions and office equipment, we use specialist wrap protectors and blanket wraps.

However tight your deadlines and short your timescale, we'll work with you to ensure safe transition of your belongings from point A to point B. Our teams are efficient and practiced and will see your move through from start to finish.

Inventory & Packing

Before packing the team will create comprehensive checklists and inventories of all your possessions using state-of-the-art bar-coding technology. These lists give us and you an instant, easy way to see what needs to be transported or put into storage.

Packing is a skilled process and we will take as much care with your possessions as we would our own. If necessary, we’ll use specially made crates to safeguard your possessions in transit.

We guarantee they’ll only be handled by staff who’ve all had intensive packing and handling training.

There are two packing options available:

You can choose to pack your belongings yourself, we can provide and supply a full range of packaging materials to protect every kind of delicate item – from hanging wardrobes to lampshade boxes, flat packs for pictures to tough small boxes for heavy items like books.
You can decide to use our complete packing service, safe in the knowledge that your goods are in safe hands. If we are carrying out the packing for you, we will include the cost of the materials in our quote.

Once your possessions have been wrapped and packed, they’ll be placed in containers at your home, securely sealed and then loaded onto our specially designed vehicles for their onward journey. Your container will either be delivered direct, or transported to one of our superb new storage facilities, for as long as you need.

You can rest assured that if you are using our storage facilities your possessions are all safe and secure. We have invested heavily in the latest transportation and warehousing facilities with a state of the art storage database that tracks all consignments and allows effortless recovery. We have 24,000 square feet of warehousing space available, our 700 containers are sealed in a process that makes it impossible for anyone but you to add or remove items and all of our facilities and services are insurance covered.

Delivery & Unpacking

Whether you are moving within the UK, Europe or worldwide, our team will deliver and unload your belongings, unpack and even position your furniture. Then we’ll remove all packing materials and debris so you can start enjoying your new home or business premises.
